Notting Hill home gets a new look

American born interior designer Scott Maddux initially studied architecture, which help him during the total renovation of this five storey family home in Notting Hill. His novel approach celebrates the building's best features in an understated manner. Unconventional details come in the form of the metal spiral staircase which links the ground floor to the basement and the robust circular metal balustrade around the light-well on the floor above.
