Having outgrown their chic maisonette close to central London, Abi and Philip spent months combing the local area in search of a more spacious home, when inspiration came from Abi's acupuncturist! 'She suggested a part of south London that we'd never even heard of, let along considered, ' recalls Abi. 'But we had a good look around this leafy suburb and instantly felt comfortable with its spacious Victorian houses and vibrant community.’ So, when a detached, three storey home came up for sale, Philip went to view it immediately. And it didn't take more than a few grainy snapshots on his mobile phone to convince Abi that the house was perfect.
